Construction of the new Medallion Homes, Resource Co and Thomas Foods building has just completed and is the tallest development to be built within the Burnside district for over 40 years. The Six-Story building includes four levels of office spaces, along with two, four-bedroom penthouse apartments. The building includes four contemporary office spaces, one each on the ground and first level floors, and Thomas Foods occupying the offices on levels two and three.

Thomas foods offices feature an internal green wall and concreate staircase linking the two levels. Above the offices on the top level are two penthouse apartments; both with a pool. The building also include an underground carpark.

The developer Medallion Homes, have leased the offices to Thomas Foods and Resource Co, creating a unique working environment throughout the numerous floors. The construction of the building came to a final $20 million project; and Medallion Homes managing director Peter Katelanis states “It has been the catalyst for bringing three SA brands together in this state-of-the art office space on the fringes of Adelaide’s CBD,” Mr Katelanis.

Working directly with both the builders and designers; Workspace Commercial Furniture are pleased to have successfully planned, manufactured, delivered and installed a range of office and hospitality furniture. The partnership between the three brands and Workspace highlights the importance of Australian Manufacturing and promotes business growth within Australia.

"Mel, Thank you to you and your team for the Workspace solutions for the Thomas Foods Fitout at Rose Park. Cube architects were pleased to be able to work directly with your design and manufacturing teams to offer our client a customized and unique solution. In particular we worked closely on the sit-to-stand desk technology for the executive desks, styled to be coherent with the fixed desk design. Without your local manufacturing knowledge of the limitations and safety requirements of the system, we would not have been able to achieve the outcomes which fulfilled both the client brief and the consistent design aesthetic. We look forward to working with Workspace again on future projects." - Cube Architects Katherine Rawlings
